Four towering pavilions topped by elegantly tapering white rooftops connect to each other via expanses of sundecks, boardwalks and staircases – your own playfully luxe kingdom by the sea.

Awaken in the luxurious master bedroom suite. Proceed through your private dressing area to a glorious open-air bathroom. Promenade to the spiral staircase behind your retreat's second bedroom pavilion and descend to the dining area for a breakfast in the intimacy of the retreat. Continue onwards to the entertainment pavilion and kick back with a leisurely game or two, or perhaps dip into your half-moon pool. Though the 2-Bedroom Junior Beach Pool Retreat is located alongside the serenity of the spa, you may perhaps prefer treatments on your own private spa deck.

The unique Treepod Dining experience invites you to take fine dining to new heights. Comfortably seated in a bamboo pod, they gently hoist you high up into the tropical foliage of Koh Kood’s ancient rainforest. The Den is their pride and joy. When they envisioned Soneva Kiri, they knew wanted to do something special for children. Incredibly special. If they wanted to rekindle a childlike wonder in adults, then we had to go profusely over the edge in their children's offering. A giant moulded bamboo playground shaped like a manta ray, The Den is dedicated to learning, to excitement, to meaningful experiences. Professional child minders pique your children's imaginations, teaching them to play Thai instruments, unleashing their creative talents with painting and the visual arts, and carefully watching them at play in the wonderous world of moulded bamboo spaces up, down and around.

Recently launching the Intrepid Explorers Club, aimed specifically at one to five year olds, they are the only resort that offer such comprehensive, age-specific facilities.

At the Explorers Club, the younger group play in the 'Eco Den’. There the children get to play with toys and take part in activities, both meeting Soneva’s stringent standards of social and environmental responsibility. Throughout the children are looked after by qualified childcare experts, supported by local child carers.
