Villa Florimar

Super sleek and sexy, but fabulously comfortable, Villa Florimar would not be out of place in one of the world’s fashion capitals, yet this impressive five-bedroom villa is located in the beautiful and very traditional Balinese village of Seseh, just a stone’s throw from the beach.

Thanks to their rich and long-time experience in the fashion industry, the Dutch owners lent their unique touch and their sense of style and sophistication to the delightful ambiance of villa Florimar, from the fabulous black and white interiors to the incredible array of Asian antiquities.

With its enormous kitchen and dining space and its open-sided living areas looking out across the magnificent tropical gardens and swimming pool, Villa Florimar is an ideal venue for social events, whether it be a wedding, milestone celebration or informal and relaxed get-together with friends or family.

INDOOR & DINING AREA

At the heart of Villa Florimar’s main pavilion is an enormous light-filled, open-plan living room furnished with an oversized daybed strewn with Chinese style silk cushions, and comfortable rattan chairs upon which to recline with a book or take an afternoon nap. This magnificent space overlooks the garden and pool and is connected to the kitchen by a rustic wooden bridge over a fishpond.

The open-sided dining room seats ten and overlooks the garden, pool and balé.

Adjacent to the dining room, The kitchen, finished in super-stylish black terrazzo and equipped with fabulous matt black crockery, features Chinese cabinets and a wall display of traditional Javanese metal cracker jars.

OUTDOOR & POOL AREA

Villa Florimar has a wonderful selection of private outdoor living areas as well as plentiful spaces for groups to gather and socialise. Laze under a parasol on one of the four oversized daybeds surrounding the pool. Escape from the midday heat in the comfortable balé, wrapped in the garden’s lush greenery and shaded by trees.

Enjoy a cocktail or two at the villa’s piece de resistance, the poolside lounge. This fabulous area, which comfortably seats 12.

The gorgeous grey-black river stone which lines the 18m swimming pool harmonizes with the dark, glistening volcanic sands of Seseh Beach.

ENTERTAINMENT AREA

There is a low Japanese-style table with seating for six which looks out towards the garden, pool and pavilions. Behind it is the entertainment area which is located to the other side of the living pavilion and is furnished with comfortable sofas on which to lay back and watch the 42-inch flat-screen television, discreetly housed within a chic black oriental-style cabinet.

BEDROOMS

Sunrise & Sunset Suites (Master Bedrooms)
Upstairs in Florimar’s main pavilion are two identical master bedrooms – one facing east and the other west – appropriately named the Sunrise and Sunset suites. Sunrise looks out over a Hindu temple on the seafront whilst Sunset has wonderfully expansive views over the ocean.

The rooms feature iPod docking stations, televisions, DVD players and lounge areas with enormous windows that can open to let in the balmy sea breezes. Daybeds on each of the rooms’ private balconies beckon for intimate moments of relaxation.

Sunrise & Sunset Pavilions
Located at the far side of the garden, and separated by a decadent alfresco lounge area, are the mirror-image Sunrise and Sunset pavilions. Romanesque sunken baths luxuriate within the bedrooms while the ensuite bathrooms are fitted with a shower.

Covered terraces embellished with artefacts and statues from around Indonesia offer views over the pool and garden and feature sofas built into the stonework.

Corner Room
The Corner room, below the Sunset suite is appointed with a king-size bed, has an ensuite bathroom with shower and access to its own private garden.

STAFF

Villa Florimar is fully staffed with a stellar team that guarantees you nothing short of an amazing vacation, including a Villa manager, a personal chef, villa attendants, housekeepers and 24-hour security.

WEDDINGS & EVENTS

With its private and extensive tropical walled gardens, wide lawns and idyllic rural Balinese setting close to the beach, Villa Florimar is the perfect venue to host a special event, whether it be an intimate gathering or a more lavish celebration. Groups of up to 120 standing or 100 seated guests can be accommodated at Villa Florimar.

Special events can be coordinated by an event management team and professional caterers who have the world-class expertise to prepare a sumptuous feast at the villa, in addition to the provision of decorations, flowers, lighting, sound systems and entertainment as required.

Curfew: 11:00pm for all music (live bands, DJ, and/or in-house music)
