Situated adjacent to a number of Aman resorts around the world, the villas are the ultimate tier in terms of Aman accommodation options, offering all the services and facilities of the resort in consummate privacy. They also enable families and friends to holiday together, with the obvious benefits of a personal cook, live-in maid and concierge service.The ideal venues for family gatherings and events such as weddings or meetings, Aman Villas also offer guests unlimited access to all the facilities and services of the Aman resort. This ensures a home-away-from-home experience with every possible convenience – from spas and tennis courts to restaurants and libraries – on the side.

AMANUSA VILLAS

Each villa at Amanusa is located on approximately 4,000 square metres of land and offers three or more bedrooms and a private swimming pool. Whilst the series of buildings that make up each villa compound are identical, the villas are differentiated by the positioning of the buildings to embrace the views, respect the natural terrain and vegetation, and to protect the privacy of the villa.

Typically, arrival to each villa is via a forecourt that contains a double garage and a vestibule that opens to the villa landscape.

There is a central two-story structure that provides two guest bedrooms on the lower level, separated by a gallery and a staircase leading to an upper level. Here one finds a lounging and dining area with beautiful open views on either side of the central stairs that lead down to the swimming pool.

The bedrooms and living pavilions of each villa radiate from a magnificent private swimming pool. Interiors are finished with carefully selected furnishings, art and antiques, and bedrooms feature elegant four-poster beds. Each bedroom offers its own living area while the spacious en suite bathrooms provide a sunken bathtub and twin vanities.

At the heart of each Aman Villa is a generously-proportioned swimming pool surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds. Leading onto the pool terrace is a guest bathroom and shower, and beyond in the garden is a large open-air dining pavilion which can accommodate up to 10 diners. Rounding out the central facilities is an air-conditioned library which provides lounging and home theatre opportunities.

Walkways through the landscaped gardens link the main facilities to the other guest bedrooms, as well as the master suite. The master suite is larger than the guest bedrooms and offers a lounging area as well as an expansive terrace. All the bedrooms feature spacious en suite bathrooms and a number also offer outdoor bathtubs and showers.

Completing each Aman Villa is the service building which houses the kitchen, laundry and staff accommodation.

Villas provide extensive dining and lounging areas. Offering seamless indoor/outdoor living, they are designed to maximise views and take advantage of Bali’s balmy climate.

Each villa enjoys the services of a personal cook and offers a number of different dining venues – both outdoors and in. A thatched dining sala set within the villa’s gardens features a round dining table and a lounging area ideal for pre- or post-dinner drinks.

Restaurants and bar
The Terrace offers sweeping views of the golf course, the Indian Ocean, Nusa Dua and the Bukit Peninsula at the southern end of Bali, and serves Thai and Indonesian cuisines, as well as Continental fare during the day.

Open only for dinner, The Italian Restaurant provides seating in an elegant room with high ceilings and leaded windows. Guests can also enjoy dinner in the romantic outdoor courtyard amongst flowering frangipani trees overlooking the pool.

Library
The Library specialises in books on Indonesian art and culture. A selection of novels, magazines, newspapers, CDs, DVDs and board games, as well as a laptop for internet access, are also available.

Boutique
A unique selection of Balinese and Indonesian jewellery, indigenous handicrafts, gift items and resort wear is available for purchase in the Boutique.

Tennis centre
Amanusa’s two all-weather tennis courts are floodlit for evening play. Attendants are available as playing partners or ball boys. A bale is located between the courts for shady breaks of iced chrysanthemum tea and other refreshments.

Massage and beauty treatments
Amanusa’s resident therapists mix traditional Balinese massage techniques with Swedish massage and acupressure. Treatments are available in the privacy of guests’ villas, in the specially-designated Spa Suite or in one of the open-air Beach Club bales.

Weddings & celebrations
The resort has meeting facilities for up to 30 people and is a special venue for occasions such as weddings, anniversary celebrations, birthdays and family reunions.
